DIRECT CONTROL (Serbia): zoran lalic, dj and producer, was born in 1984 in novi sad. 1980 - 90s were the years of hip-hop, electro funk, break dance, sratching, graffiti, and mcs. these years were the turning point in the life of d.c. while listening to good music of that time, watching break dance videos on music channels, and drawing graffiti he came under the influence of that culture. he found himself in breakbeat rhythm,flavoured with melodies of dark electro synth and robot vocals, in other words a musical genre known as old and new school electro. 2003 is the year when he started to dj with alias dj direct, but very quickly after that he forms project direct control. his track “i drive my spaceship” became already the “hymn of serbian electro`. zoran lalic is one of the founders of first serbian electro label called “e75 records”.

KéPESLAP (Slovakia, France): is a 2008 new born project. it's a collaboration between imiafan & makina girgir. after having met on the web and then in real life during some das drehmoment party in berlin. "mirror"is their first track made a monotonous anthem, to the deep dark side of a confused man's life.. asking himself in front of his mirror, who he really is..képeslap will focus on melancholic but catchy songs, kind of cold war clichés and audioscreenshots ...

STARCLUSTER feat ELKE BRAUWEILER (Germany / Great Britain): country pop band starcluster are made up of kinky roland in london and keen k in berlin the two school friends have been working together since they were teenagers. its a cosmic disco italo new wave affair of analog bubble baselines and retro drum machines. starcluster have found their home on new upcoming label aube records. they have collaborated with singer elke brauweiler on this track exclusive for drehmoment compilation. a fresh synthwave italo number with haunting french vocals.

DREAM DISCO (The Netherlands): dj overdose started freaking around with turntables and mixers in 1987. a few years later he began producing his own tracks, when he bought his favorite sampler the emu sp12. dj overdose collaborates with dj technician as get it boyz, with ingmar pauli as novamen and with alden tyrell as the hasbeens and did some remixes with i-f as los muchachos gruesos. he released on well known labels from the hague bunker and murder capital/viewlexx. now releases come from all over the world. he played liveshows with i-f and alden tyrell at festivals like sonar (spain), aquaplanning (france) awakenings and lowlands (netherlands). he is now working on dj overdose, dream disco, the hasbeens, novamen and get it boyz projects. for das drehmoment it´s the third collaboration after his 12inches `take me home` and ‚in your eyes’.

DATAFREQ (Canada): datafreq is dave rout, who lives and records in toronto, canada in his studio full of vintage videogames and electronics. he has been involved in the canadian electronic music scene since the mid 80’ies with notable releases including “aktivierung” by !bang elektronika (hypnobeat), infor/mental on ninja tune (u.k.) or side projects with rational youth or darrin huss from psyche. after his big success with “just like 1981”, released on “va. advanced electronics sampler vol 5” (spv) and his full length album ‚fun for the whole family` on das drehmoment, datafreq marks his return with his track ‚the only place i go’ to his original passions of early 80’ies new wave melodies and vintage electronic rhythms.

POLYGAMY BOYS (Germany): polygamy boys are michel morin, well know as sneak-thief and stephan busche, part of fancyman. they create raw and gritty, often sinister tracks - but they are never afraid to venture into playful and funk-inspired territory. polygamy boys are not interested in duplicating what's already been done, but rather carrying forward a tradition of dark, moody, and evocative electronic dance music. michel first met stephan face-to-face at das drehmoment records in berlin in august 2002. collaborating was a spur of the moment idea and they started their project soon after. one of their first tracks, "wake up", became a big hit on bunker records (nl).

GREG PUNKOV (Bosnia-Herzegovina): greg punkov started creating music just for fun 5 years ago, thus expressing his memories and creating new life of yugoslavia socialist tv music aesthetics, at the beginning in his head only, and later on through obscure sound under project yurockolonia. his first release ever was issued in cooperation with his friend deno zivkovic, with whom he shares passion for old-school dance and electro. from that time on, he starts creating music as greg pavlov: synth-flavoured electro with some italo-influenced touch and smooth dance floor beats. finally greg pavlov became greg punkov. greg punkov published for netlabel oscilator and is co-founder of oscilator radioshow.

HARDLEFT(Germany): is a berlin based musician, producer and dj. in the early 2000s he released sleazy electro 12" on his highly acclaimed record label talk dirty productions berlin. now his addictive track "missa pro defunctis" is released on the new drehmoment compilation.
